Las Vegas Raiders (1-0) vs. Pittsburgh Steelers (1-0), Sunday at 1 p.m. ET

The Pittsburgh Steelers shocked many as they beat the Buffalo Bills and improved to 1-0, now tied for first in the AFC North, and that was not what many were thinking would happen after the first week of competition.

The Bills fought hard, but they had too many turnovers and this black and gold defense was very impressive in the victory. They continuously caused the other team to allow sacks, turnovers, and commit penalties. It was a win that saw the away squad still needing much improvement. It is always nice winning while you figure out your improvements going forward, and that is what this club did.

This offense is suspect after that first showing, however, and they need major help going forward.

The Raiders will come to town as the Steelers open their 2021 season at Heinz Field. This incoming team will cause headaches throughout a game and could upset teams. They are not terrible, but they are average and that will cause good teams to lose when they play each other. They have some solid weapons on offense, with Darren Waller being the standout at tight end.

That will be the biggest mismatch for the Pittsburgh defense to handle during the game. The away club’s defense is not super strong in any specific area so this offense should be able to move the ball up and down the field with more ease than they did in week one. It might be a close matchup at points in the game but the Steelers should win this fight by a possession or two.

The AFC North is just getting started as they head into their Week 2 matchups. It should be another eventful week as these teams have some tough competition to begin the season.
