Ben Roethlisberger keeps ticking

Ben Roethlisberger played his 234th game and is in 96th place overall. If Big Ben plays all 17 games this season, taking him to 251, he will then be in 48th place, tied with Mike Kenn, who played from 1978 through 1994.

Also, starting the game, Roethlisberger had 60,348 passing yards and ended with 60,536. He only needs 825 more yards to surpass Dan Marino and fall into sixth place overall.

If Roethlisberger can throw for at least 2,905 yards this season, he will also overtake Philip Rivers for the fifth spot, leaving him only behind Brett Farve, Peyton Manning, Tom Brady, and Drew Brees.

However, if he surpasses Rivers, he will be the only player ranked that high, having passed that many yards playing for only one team.

Also, Sunday’s victory gave Big Ben his 36th fourth-quarter comeback, tying him with Brees. He needs four more to reach Brady and eight to surpass Manning. Also, Roethlisberger got credited with another game-winning drive.

He now has 47 and is tied with Marino. Roethlisberger needs two to catch Brady and nine to surpass Manning.
