The AFC North gets ready for their week three games after the second week of competition wrapped up.

It was an up and down Week 2 for the AFC North as they finished with a 2-2 record between the four teams. The week ended with the division getting closer and more congested in the standings. However, it is still too early in the season to declare a favorite or winner at this point.

There are some strong teams in the North and they all have to decipher where each team will be placed going forward. Some teams were upset while others overcame tough odds to defeat challenging opponents.

Week 3 should be fun to watch as we see our first AFC North matchup of the year and it should be a good game to watch. It is always tricky to predict what NFL teams will do this early in the year but all of these games will have big impacts down the line when the season starts to wrap up in the distant future.

Cincinnati Bengals (1-1)

The Cincinnati Bengals saw their 1-0 start come to a halt after suffering their first loss of the season. They fell short against the Chicago Bears, who have a solid defense and a reeling offense full of questions. It was a close game as the AFC North squad fell, 20-17, but it was another game that this young group could’ve won.

The Bengals will have growing pains throughout this year and that will cost them a playoff spot when it is all said and done. Cincinnati has a young, up-and-coming team that still needs time to add players and grow. They have shown early on this season that the future is bright and should win many football games in the years to come. The Bengals open up their division play against a banged-up Steelers team at Heinz Field as they look to go 2-1 when week three concludes.
