Pittsburgh Steelers vs Buffalo Bills Week 1

Chukwumah Okorafor struggled to keep his hands inside when blocking, and the defensive lineman was able to shed him. On another play, Dan Moore Jr. seemed to have missed his blocking assignment and allowed the defender to penetrate and blow up.

In the 2nd quarter of the game, Ed Oliver fired off the ball and knocked Trai Turner over as if he wasn’t even there. There were some positives in the Buffalo Bills game, but the offensive line was not able to execute consecutively.

Najee Harris could find very little rushing room vs the Buffalo Bills front. The Buffalo Bills have a good front seven, but we aren’t exactly talking about the 2000 Baltimore Ravens defense here. During the broadcast of the NFL draft, there was some wonder if the Pittsburgh Steelers should have addressed the offensive line first, and the running back position second.

Najee Harris is a really good running back, and one offensive lineman even a high pedigree one, wouldn’t fix the issue alone.
