With the Steelers set to start their divisional games against the Bengals this weekend, here are four bold predictions for their week three game.

The Steelers have to find a way to rebound after suffering a disappointing loss to the Raiders at home last week. This week, they open their divisional games against a Bengals team that certainly looks improved from last season.

\Getting back on track and off to a 2-1 record on the season would be a great result if the team were to rebound. Here are four bold predictions for the Steelers vs the Bengals.

The Steelers pass rush struggles

Pittsburgh’s defensive line – specifically their pass rush – is probably the biggest strength of this football team. Unfortunately, their strength may become a weakness in Week 3.

Alex Highsmith was not able to suit up for practice at all this week and has been officially ruled out of the game with a groin injury. To make matters far worse, T.J. Watt – who practiced on a limited basis all week – was also ruled out on Saturday morning.

In his place, the Steelers will move newly-signed pass rusher, Taco Charlton, to the active roster, but he may not be ready to contribute on defense. That means that Melvin Ingram and former undrafted free agent Jamir Jones will get the start at outside linebacker. This all comes in addition to Tyson Alualu being out for possibly the remainder of the season with a fractured ankle and Stephon Tuitt still on IR with a knee issue.

The Bengals don’t have a great pass-protecting offensive line, but with the Steelers missing four key starters along their defensive front, they will likely struggle to generate consistent pressure in this one.
