Steelers win

It isn’t a great thing when a bold prediction is a team winning, but after the last two abysmal performances, the Steelers are heavy underdogs this week. Looking at the rosters and their respective strengths though, the Packers match up well with what Pittsburgh should look to do. They are a passing-heavy team that relies on one receiver. If the pass rush returns to form and the focus is on shutting Adams down though, the team should be able to contain this offense.

The Packer’s defense is relatively strong against the pass but has had their struggles against ground games. If the Steelers can come out and establish Harris early, get an early lead, and focus on long drives centered around running the ball, they could keep the ball out of the Packers’ offense’s hands. This in turn would help them control the pace of the game.

No, this game never gets out of hand, and the Packers are always a score behind, but I think Pittsburgh pulls this one out. It all culminates late, with the team up 21-20 with the ball and about three minutes left. Harris finishes the day strong, running out the last few minutes of the game and securing the win for the Steelers. It won’t be an easy task, but I think this is a game the team can win.

While the Steelers have a lot to prove this week, this is a game that they could realistically win. The Packers are a good team, but the team can exploit their weaknesses this week. Despite being heavy underdogs this week, this should be a good matchup in week four.
