3 Broncos players fans would love to see play on the Steelers
C Lloyd Cushenberry
The Steelers did address the center position in the most recent draft but Kendrick Green is a little undersized and has not done all that well, Lloyd Cushenberry can play center or guard but my thinking is to have Lloyd play center and kick Green over to guard.
The 6’4″ 315-pound center would be the staple of the Pittsburgh running game and would also provide a cleaner pocket for the quarterback behind him. Cushenberry’s first season was an impactful one, he played 1076 offensive snaps and allowed 4 sacks while committing 3 penalties, not bad for a rookie or even for a veteran. So far in 2021 he has played 263 offensive snaps and has allowed zero sacks and committed zero penalties.
The 23-year old LSU product is still young and would be a great player to build the new offensive line around, Kendrick Green and Kevin Dotson at guard, Dan Moore Jr. at tackle, and Cushenberry at center, now a right tackle, and this fantasy offensive line is looking good, now we just need the young line to develop through experience. Although Lloyd was given a grade of 40.5 during his rookie season, he has taken a step so far and has a 60.5 grade from PFF so far this season.
