Seattle Seahawks (2-3) vs Pittsburgh Steelers (2-3), Sunday at 8:20 P.M. ET

Both of these teams are limping into this Sunday Night Football matchup under the lights. The Seahawks will be coming to Pittsburgh without Russel Wilson after he suffered a injury which will keep him out for a handful of weeks going forward. Geno Smith is expected to start the game for the away squad.

The visiting club is struggling in the early portion of their season, even when Wilson was playing. Their defense is not good right now and their offense has struggled to consistently put up numbers. They have some dangerous players but they also have severe weaknesses across their roster.

The Steelers enter this game with hopes of leaving with a 3-3 record before their bye week. It is a more favorable matchup for Pittsburgh as their offensive weapons are going to be tough to cover with a poor secondary. It was an impressive performance last week as the black and gold culminated 27 points of offense in their win against the Denver Broncos.

This still won’t be a cakewalk for the home club as they will struggle to cover the Seahawk’s receiving group. They have major playmakers and that is going to allow Seattle to get down the field on drives. The X-factor is going to be Smith and a betting man shouldn’t expect him to win this game in a hostile environment.

The AFC North continues to be tough competition for the top spot. It will be a battle until the very end of the season before a true winner is finally crowned.
