14. Cincinnati Bengals

Up until last week, it was really hard to tell what type of team the Cincinnati Bengals were. It’s been so long since they have been relevant that most experts already wrote them off this year. Not so fast.

Though they lost against Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers last week,  they were able to bring this game into overtime, and they nearly had a chance to advance to 4-1 on the season if a few things would have gone differently.

As it stands, 3-2 is still a respectable record, and they should be able to take care of business against the Detroit Lions this week before an all-important matchup with the Baltimore Ravens.

Even playing through injuries, quarterback Joe Burrow has been as good as anyone could have expected so far, and this defense has taken a big leap forward. They could climb even higher in the rankings with a few more wins in the coming weeks.
