13. Las Vegas Raiders

The Las Vegas Raiders have a lot to deal with right now and finding a new head coach after the departure of Jon Gruden has to be at the top of their list. Still, even through turmoil, this team can’t be forgotten about.

Though they put up a dud performance against the Bears this past week, the Raiders have already impressed against the Ravens and Steelers this year, and Derek Carr has quietly been one of the best quarterbacks in football this year.

Continuing to perform at such a high level in one of the NFL’s most talented divisions isn’t going to be easy, as Carr and company will be fighting tooth and nail for a playoff spot with the Chargers, Chiefs, and possibly even the Broncos.

Fortunately, a string of easy games gives them the potential to regain the lead in the division before things get much more difficult down the stretch. I don’t know if the Raiders are legit yet, but they are teetering on a playoff-caliber line.
