Just when NFL analysts are starting to talk about how NFL defenses have Lamar Jackson figured out, the former MVP quarterback goes off in the second half and overtime against the Indianapolis Colts last week.

Jackson has been better than his statistical production would indicate this season. However, he’s not getting much help buy his defense right now that has only been average. In addition, Jackson’s receivers have dropped an absurd number of beautifully placed passes this year.

After losing to the Raiders on the road in Week 1, the Ravens have since won four straight games — including an impressive win against the Kansas City Chiefs. With a bit more consistency on offense, they could be near the ‘elite’ category in the NFL, and I think they will have a real chance to compete in the playoffs this year.

The Ravens have a tough three-game stretch coming up, but if they are able to weather the storm, they could stay atop the AFC North, and maybe even stay in contention for the top seed in the AFC this year.
