Kansas City Chiefs. 7. team. 124. . .

7. Kansas City Chiefs

I’ve got to be honest: I didn’t foresee the Kansas City Chiefs being this low in my power rakings at any point this season. Some analysts have them as low as the 10th-best team right now.

Their defense is a legitimate concern. They are currently allowing 32.6 points per game — dead last in the league. However, anytime you have Patrick Mahomes, Tyreke Hill, and Travis Kelce, this team has the capability of putting up 40 points on any given week.

While the Chiefs are currently 2-3, I can’t imagine them having a losing record by the end of the season. In fact, I’d be shocked if they missed the playoffs this year.

Kansas City still has a top-five offense that is averaging 30.8 points per game, and they are good enough to be any team on any given week. If their defense is able to tighten up their loose screws, the Chiefs immediately become legitimate Super Bowl contenders again.
