3. team. 51. . . . Los Angeles Rams

3. Los Angeles Rams

So far, Matthew Stafford has been worth every bit of draft capital the Rams gave up to get him this past offseason. Though Los Angeles was still competitive when Jared Goff was at the helm, Stafford has elevated this team to another level offensively.

The Rams have played a very tough schedule so far, and have lost just one game to an impressive divisional opponent in the Arizona Cardinals. Sean McVay’s team is currently 8th in scoring and 12th in points allowed per game, but they have the potential to be even better once players develop some chemistry with their new signal-caller.

Playing in arguably the toughest division in football, these wins won’t come easy, but it’s going to make them a better team for it. Fortunately, the Rams have a very easy stretch coming up before things get hard at the end of the season, but  I wouldn’t be surprised if they won their next 4-5 games in a row.

This was my preseason pick to win the Super Bowl, and I still think they are in the top three in the NFL.
