Seattle Seahawks. 25. team. 36. . .

25. Seattle Seahawks

My, how the tables have turned for a Seattle Seahawks team that were once considered to be Super Bowl contenders just about every year. Now that Russell Wilson could be sidelined for as much as 6-8 weeks, this team slips even further in the power rankings.

Even before Wilson’s injury, the Seahawks weren’t looking very good. Though their star quarterback had been good enough to keep them in most games, this defense is hardly even a shade of the ones we have come to expect from Seattle. Currently, on the season, Pete Carroll’s defense ranks 22nd — surrendering 25.2 points per game.

In terms of yardage allowed, this team has been the worst in the league, as they have given up an outrageous 450 offensive yards per game so far.

Seattle has lost two of their last three games. In Week 6, they will travel from the west coast to the east coast to face the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday Night Football. Mike Tomlin’s team is coming off an impressive win, so this one won’t be easy.
