Steelers vs. Seahawks: Who the experts are taking in Week 6
The Steelers stay at home this week as they try and win their last game before the bye week begins.
The Steelers stay at home as they play under the lights against another opponent that they should beat. The Seattle Seahawks come to town for a Sunday Night matchup in primetime. All of America will set its sights on Pittsburgh when kickoff comes around.
Both of these teams are looking to head into the following week with a 3-3 record. The loser of this one will fall further into irrelevancy at a record of 2-4. Russel Wilson will be absent from this game as he nurses a hand injury. That will play a pivotal role in how these experts make their decisions going forward.
This is a game that the black and gold should be able to win once the clock strikes zero. They have a better roster overall without Wilson available for this one. Even if he could play, this is a struggling Seahawks club. This is one that Pittsburgh should win and many of the experts share that opinion.
The Steelers were able to defeat the Denver Broncos last week and the offense finally broke through. They were able to establish a consistent rushing attack and the rest of the game plan followed. It was a blowout score of 24-6 before the home team let up and allowed the visiting squad to get back into the game.
It was almost a disappointing end but the defense was finally able to stand tall and halt the Broncos comeback. The end score was 27-19 but that is an impressive number put up by this Pittsburgh offense. They should be able to move the ball against Seattle for the majority of the game while the defense needs to make it tough on the Seahawks starting quarterback, Geno Smith.
