Prediction: Steelers 26, Seahawks 17

The Steelers should be able to win this game without major concern. Their previous matchups with lesser opponents will always creep into the minds of fans as they come into a game like this one. A backup quarterback coming on the road should spell great things for the home team.

Upsets happen all the time and Pittsburgh should be able to dismantle this team, but usually, that is when they struggle. It should be a blowout on Sunday Night but the black and gold refuse to do that. The defense should be able to play a full 60-minute game and cause turnovers.

The Seahawks will be able to take advantage of this defensive secondary that the home team is fielding. They are still struggling and they almost allowed the Broncos to come back last week. Expect a closer game than most people are expecting even though Russel Wilson will be out.

Pittsburgh’s offense should be able to continue their upward trajectory after last week’s game and carry that into this one. This defense that they’re going up against isn’t the Legion of Boom anymore. The black and gold need to handle business and win these games that they’re supposed to. Heading into the bye week at a 3-3 record is a big deal after their poor start.

The Steelers will try to breathe some hope back into their 2021 season this week with a hopeful win. It will be very tough against a good Seattle offense but this is a winnable game for Pittsburgh.
