The Pittsburgh Steelers are in search of their third win of the season. Here’s why they should find it against the Seattle Seahawks in Week 6.

It appeared as if the Steelers were about to hit rock bottom. After losing three straight games early in the season, Pittsburgh needed a win against the Denver Broncos to avoid falling to 1-4.

In Week 5, Mike Tomlin’s team held the lead against the Broncos all game, and the offense showed up for the first time this season. With momentum in their corner, the Steelers hold some big advantages over the Seattle Seahawks this week. Here are three reasons why they should come away with their third win in Week 6:

Seahawks have some key injuries

Losing JuJu Smith-Schuster for the season with a shoulder injury was a big blow to the team, but his loss is not insurmountable. Though they lost a reliable pass-catcher who can do the dirty work across the middle of the field, I recently wrote that moving Chase Claypool inside could be one of the best decisions this team could make.

Injury-wise, the Seahawks are in far worse shape. No loss this season — regardless of the team — measures up to losing a franchise quarterback like Russell Wilson. He was the reason Seattle has been able to stay competitive in games this year. Pro Football Focus had Wilson graded as the second-best quarterback in the league through five games.

Additionally, wide receiver DK Metcalf and running back Chris Carson both missed practice on Thursday, and there’s a chance they don’t suit up on Sunday night. With the Steelers mostly healthy, they hold a massive advantage here.
