Carlos Davis DT: questionable (knee)

After sitting out a week to his knee injury, Davis returned to a limited practice on both Wednesday and Thursday. Seemingly the Steelers did not want to take any chances on re-injuring the knee, so they did not have him play a full practice. Yet his return to practice paves the way for him to return to Sunday’s game, which is huge in some respects.

The Seahawks will be going with backup Geno Smith, so adding an additional body to the defensive line only adds to the pressure the Seahawk’s quarterback will find himself facing. Expect Davis to return Sunday.

James Washington WR: questionable (groin)

With the injury to JuJu Smith-Schuster, Washington is not a name you want to have on the injury list, and Pittsburgh can ill afford to have their wide-receiver ranks keep thinning. His addition to the injury came late last week as he injured his groin in practice and sat out of the Denver game.

He returned to practice on Wednesday and Thursday in a limited capacity, which is good news as it seemingly indicates he should return for the Seahawks game. If he returns, The Steelers expect Washington to play a much larger role in the Steelers’ offense for the remainder of the season.
