The Pittsburgh Steelers won their second straight game in Week 6. Here are five players whose stock is currently through the roof.

There was a lot to digest following Steelers overtime win against a depleted Seattle Seahawks team in Week 6. Though Pete Carroll’s team was missing its star quarterback, they put up a fight in Pittsburgh.

After re-watching the game and reviewing the film, Pittsburgh was clearly not without its share of faults in this contest. However, the stock of these five players is through the roof following the Steelers second straight win:

Steelers DB Tre Norwood

I don’t think anyone could have predicted the early impact Tre Norwood would have had on this football team. Despite being a 7th round draft choice without a true position coming into training camp, Norwood impressed with some impressive ball skills and instincts that seemed to be beyond his years.

Though Norwood has been up and down at times as a rookie (which is to be expected), his good plays have grossly outweighed the bad. Against the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday Night Football, Norwood was arguably the best player in the secondary for Pittsburgh. He came up with three very impressive third-down stops thanks to his play recognition and instincts.

As time goes on, Norwood should be even more comfortable in his role as an extra defensive back in the secondary. His stock is soaring after Pittsburgh’s Week 6 win.
