The Steelers had an exciting victory over the Seahawks Sunday night. There were four standout players that brought Pittsburgh their win.

The Sunday night thriller was filled with heroes throughout the game. Most of those heroes were mainly on defense and special teams.

Here is a list of four of those performances that greatly nudged the Steelers to victory.

Steelers T.J. Watt

If you watched the game then you know exactly how T.J.Watt impacted the outcome. Watt showed exactly why the Steelers broke tradition and handed him a record-breaking $112 million contract over four years, making him the highest-paid defensive player in NFL history.

Watt finished the game with 7 tackles, 3 TFL, 3 PDs, 2 sacks, 2 QB hits, and 1 forced fumble. Watt was double or triple-teamed the entire game and made the important and clutch plays during the key situations. T.J. is also is the energy to the defense, the pre-game huddles and after big plays, he is always hyping up the team and everyone feeds off that energy, that aspect of him should not go unnoticed.

His strip-sack on Geno Smith was his 12th turnover caused by pressure since 2018 which is tied for 3rd in the NFL since 2018, according to NextGen stats. Watt almost recorded an interception on the night but just missed it after recording a pass deflection. T.J. has been who the Steelers rely on in crunch time and he keeps on delivering over and over again.

After watching this game, T.J. Watt might be underpaid. This game proved that he gets double and triple-teamed just like Aaron Donald and he even gets penalized for trying to punch the ball out, he might have an even better chance of getting the DPOY award this year.
