Clelin Ferrell, EDGE, Las Vegas Raiders

Clelin Ferrell is a former top 10 pick in the NFL draft by the Raiders. He was a shockingly high choice at the time when compared to most mock drafts. He was still a solid young prospect coming into the league.

Ferrell looked to be the next great edge rusher that could replace the production left behind when Khalil Mack was traded away years prior. That is a lot of pressure to put on a young player to come in and replace one of the best edge rushers in the NFL. Either way, Ferrell has not been able to do much since he came out of the collegiate ranks.

This player has just not panned out so far in the league. He has not put up any impressive stats and he could be replaced easily based on that production. He has six and a half sacks during his two seasons at the professional level. He has been getting better in that stat column but Ferrell seems to be losing favor with the silver and black.

If he can find a new home then maybe they can start unlocking that potential that helped him become a first-round selection out of Clemson. He is still young but this player needs to start figuring things out very soon or he could be out of the league.
