Cornerback- Cameron Dantzler, Minnesota Vikings

The last trade Pittsburgh should make is for cornerback, Cameron Dantzler from the Minnesota Vikings. With Cameron Sutton dealing with a groin injury, and also with the lack of depth at the position, Dantzler should be a must for the Steelers at the trade deadline.

Dantzler stands at 6’2” and weighs 190lbs. He played college football for Mississippi State and was drafted in the 3rd round in the 2020 draft by the Vikings. He is currently out because of covid, but when he comes back the Steelers should go after him.

In 3 games with the Vikings, Dantzler has 2 passes defended, 5 solo tackles, and 1 assist. Last year, he had 2 interceptions, 36 solo tackles, 10 assists, and 3 tackles for a loss. I believe this could be a guy the Steelers could use all over the field and could help with depth at the position.

If the Steelers want to compete for a playoff spot, they have to continue to improve in a number of ways, and trades at these positions come to mind. Adding to the offensive line and secondary is crucial for this year. These guys will contribute and have an immediate impact on the field if traded to Pittsburgh.
