Power ranking the QBs of the AFC North: Steelers starting to fall behind

3. Browns QB Baker Mayfield
Browns fans have to be a little bit disappointed with how the season has started so far. Despite having arguably one of the deepest and most talented rosters in the league, Cleveland sits on a 4-3 record, and this team is just 3-3 with Baker Mayfield through his first 6 games.
After a very promising rookie season that looked like Cleveland nailed this pick, Baker has been a little disappointing as he hasn’t improved as much as fans would have hoped. Early in the season, Mayfield has just 6 passing touchdowns to go with 3 interceptions in 6 games.
While his 97.8 passer rating is very respectable, there just hasn’t been a lot of firepower through the air for the Browns this year to really scare defenses (like the Bengals are starting to).
Despite a few big misses down the field this year, Baker Mayfield hasn’t been terrible. However, Cleveland needs to find much more consistency on both sides of the ball this year, and it’s got to start with their quarterback. Unfortunately for Browns fans, he may not be healthy enough to suit up against the Pittsburgh Steelers this Sunday.
