New Orleans Saints

The New Orleans Saints would make a lot of sense to add Melvin Ingram. He would be switching the black and gold in for another iteration of that same color scheme. The Saints are above average but they need help to cement themselves in the playoff picture.

The Saints have a tough road to conclude their season, especially as they face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers twice before the year concludes. Their quarterback position might be the most challenging conundrum but they can’t fix that now.

All the team can do is focus on building a strong team around Jameis Winston and while he hasn’t played terribly, he could be better. Getting Ingram to provide additional pass-rush for this defensive unit would be a huge addition for this squad.

They need more bodies there to help the cause as they were not able to replace Trey Hendrickson who left this past offseason. New Orleans needs to add a replacement and the Steelers have someone that might be available.

Ingram is not the same player that he once was with the Los Angeles Chargers but he can still provide meaningful starter capabilities. He would instantly join that starting defense down there and excel. The biggest issue for this trade is if Pittsburgh wants to move Ingram or not.
