Green Bay Packers

The Green Bay Packers are up next on this list of potential trade partners. This is Aaron Rodger’s last ride with the Packers so they need to go all-in this season, as it could be their last shot at a Super Bowl for a while.

Another interesting wrinkle to this situation is the injury of Za’Darius Smith. The dominant linebacker is sidelined for an extended period after undergoing back surgery earlier in the season. The interest for finding a replacement should be in the minds of Green Bay’s management and Ingram should be on top of their list.

It makes a ton of sense, no matter if Smith returns this year or not. Bringing in Ingram will allow him to get a ton of playing time now and still get snaps if the normal starter returns from injury. This would be an ideal situation for both Ingram and the Packers.

Not only is the need there but so is the mentality for this unit. The Packers have to go all-in for this season so they don’t waste any opportunities to raise another trophy. Everyone knows Aaron Rodgers is gone after this year but the last dance for these two could end gloriously. Trading for Ingram would help solidify this defensive front and have this team even more highly thought of.
