Arizona Cardinals

The Arizona Cardinals just lost their first game after eight weeks of play and it took the Green Bay Packers to defeat them. Even this defeat came down to the wire as the Cardinals caused a last-second turnover that cost them the game.

This club in the desert has something special brewing. They are contenders in every sense of the word but their division is very competitive. The NFC West is always tough to play in and this season is even tougher. The Cardinals need to add someone like Ingram to their defense to win this division down the stretch.

J.J. Watt was just announced to be out for the remainder of 2021 with a shoulder injury. That was kind of a shocker as many did not expect that news to come out. You could tell during the Packer game that his presence was missing, and his leadership and production on the field needs to be replaced.

Enter Ingram and you can help on the opposite side of star player, Chandler Jones. He cannot be the only option to pass-rush and they need someone else present. Ingram might not be a huge leader but he can help add another dangerous option to this defense.

This one makes the most sense as Arizona needs to find a replacement to bring in for another pass-rush option. The Steelers would get a draft selection in exchange but lose a solid depth piece to their team. It will be interesting to see what Pittsburgh decides to do with Ingram going forward.

The Steelers could always keep Ingram for depth purposes but they might have their hands tied. He was a great addition at the time of his signing but his want for more playing time is understandable.
