Steelers vs Browns: Who the experts are picking in week 8?

The following predictions come from experts across three different websites, Sporting News, CBS Sports, and The Game Day. Each site explained their prediction for this Sunday and they were mixed in regards to what they expect.

The Gameday

This site has the Steelers winning this game by a score of 23-13. The reasoning behind this prediction was the question marks for the Browns. The players potentially being out will cause a lack of skills on the field. Expect a slug-fest as these two battle it out in a tough game.

CBS Sports

CBS Sports is a reliable source for everything sports. Their expert here has the Steelers winning a gritty one on the road. The score predicted here was 19-16 over the home club. That seems more like a realistic score as both of these defenses will cause each offense to struggle in this game. It will be a gutsy performance put on by the winner of this matchup. Cleveland’s injuries and the extra week that Pittsburgh got to prepare for this one were the major factors that the away squad was chosen.

Sporting News

Sporting News makes another appearance on this weekly series. They expect the Browns to win this game by a score of 27-24. That is more points than many are expecting to happen on Sunday. They explain how this could almost go either way but the Brown’s run defense is very strong. They believe Cleveland’s run defense will be strong enough to stop Najee Harris and that will lead to Ben Roethlisberger committing turnovers.
