Steelers TE Pat Freiermuth

The rookie tight end has come a long way since Week 1 and is starting to find a role on this offense. The first 4 passes Ben Roethlisberger threw were intended for Pat Freiermuth and only one was caught but it was negated due to a penalty. Freiermuth made Steelers fans across the world explode when he caught a one-handed touchdown on 4th & 2 while he was pinned against the back of the end-zone and dragged his feet.

Pat was the third leading receiver on the team with 4 receptions that he turned into 44 yards and that touchdown, including a 22-yard reception that he extended because of his great balance, speed, and stiff-arm.

The Penn State alum is also a good blocking tight end and he put some of that skill to use against a tough Browns defense. Freiermuth made his fourth career start because of an injury to fellow tight end Eric Ebron and now he has even more Steelers fans chiming that he should start over Ebron.

The Steelers are loaded with young offensive talent for the next decade and there is no doubt that they will keep reloading on that side of the ball, and Pat Freiermuth is at the top of that talent list.
