The Steelers outlasted the Browns in spite of a questionable call by our head coach

As I stated at the outset of our conversation, we faked a field goal only to have it backfire. Not only did the attempt fail, but we lost Boswell for the remainder of the game.  I am a supporter of Tomlin and have been from ‘day one’; however, that decision was awful and it could have easily cost us the game.

Fortunately, it did not, and we emerged victorious, but what if had cost the game?  Instead of having four wins and one much-needs road win against an AFC North opponent, we would be lamenting the fact that we faked a FG, lost both our kicker and the game in the process.

After starting the season with one win and three losses, the Steelers have won three games in a row.  I think much of the credit has to be bestowed on Tomlin and the rest of the coaching staff.  I realize the players are the ones who execute the game plan and oftentimes, it takes an individual effort to secure victory.

The Steelers are playing complementary team football right now.  That says a lot about our coaches, starting with Tomlin.  The challenges lie ahead as the schedule from here on out is tough, to say the least.

Are the Steelers up to the task?  More precisely, are Tomlin and the coaching staff up to the task?  I suppose only time will tell.
