Steelers winner: Najee Harris

While Najee Harris didn’t have his best game statistically, he once again was the soul of this offense. His powerful running was consistently moving the chains and his ability as a receiver bailed out the offense a few times. While the offensive line is improving, Harris has really grown as a rookie back since the start of the season.

That was on display this week, as he took the easy few yards sometimes instead of trying to make the big play on his own. This resulted in Harris and the offense sticking to their script even if giant runs weren’t being broken off. Add in his couple of catches that went for some key first downs and Harris was easily the best aspect of this offense once again.

If Harris keeps this up and the Steelers eventually improve their offensive line, he could stake a claim at being the best running back in the league not named Derrick Henry. There are still some minor areas that he should improve upon, but his short-area burst and tough running ability aids in the offense constantly moving forward. He put up yet another solid outing and was pivotal in the team getting the win this week.

It wasn’t a pretty win, but most haven’t been this season. At the end of the day, the Steelers did just enough to get the win. The team will look to continue to build off this recent success going forward.
