Ben Brown, Right Guard/Center – Ole Miss

Ben Brown would be a great choice for the Pittsburgh Steelers in the later rounds in the 2022 NFL draft. Brown stands at 6’5” and weighs 315lbs and will be draft eligible after the season ends. This is one player that could be overlooked going into this upcoming draft.

Brown has started in all 7 games with Ole Miss this year at right guard. He also can play center if needed. Ole Miss has thrown 241 times this year with Brown only committing 2 penalties. He has allowed just 1 sack, 1 hit, and 5 hurries on the quarterback. This currently gives him a 98.2% efficiency rate as a pass blocker.

As a run blocker, Brown has been very good. Ole Miss has run the ball 203 times so far and Brown has been a main reason why Ole Miss has been one of the best this year in college football. Ole Miss is currently ranked 3rd in all of college football in rushing averaging 5.4 yards a carry while rushing for 263.3 yards a game.

The biggest problem the Steelers have is running the ball and I think Brown could help out next year if drafted. These are the 3 offensive linemen they must consider drafting if they want to be successful in the 2022 season.
