3 reasons why Steelers will make the playoffs this year

Steelers defense is taking shape
If the Steelers want to make the playoffs this year, the defense has to play well every game and force turnovers. In the past 3 games, they have done so at important times that have led to wins. In the 3-win game win streak, Pittsburgh’s defense has had 3 turnovers at very crucial times to win the game.
The 3 big turnovers were when James Pierre had the game-winning interception against the Broncos, T.J watt with the forced fumble in overtime against Seattle, and Joe Schobert with the forced fumble against the Browns when they were in scoring position at the end of the game.
The Steelers defense has 10.5 sacks in the past 3 games. It is great to see them always after the opposing quarterback. They now have 19 sacks on the season and are currently ranked 4th in the AFC in that category. T.J Watt has 8.5 of those sacks and has proven to be worth every penny Pittsburgh gave him at the beginning of the season.
The Steelers defense is also ranked 4th in the AFC in yards allowed per game at 345.7. They have limited offenses to 20.3 points per game which is ranked tied for 6th best in the NFL. If the offense can start to progress and score more points each game, the defense is good enough to keep their opponents off the board and lead this team into the playoffs.
