The Steelers are set to take on the Bears on Monday night, and here are four key questions that will have to be answered in this game.

The Steelers enter week nine riding high on a huge win over the Browns from a week before. Despite the team having a litany of issues, they are finding a way to win and hope to continue that streak this week. The Bears have had plenty of issues on their own, but this game will be far from a cakewalk.

Here are four important questions that will have to be answered this week when the Steelers take on the Bears.

Can the Steelers stop Herbert?

Many expected Damien Williams to take on the lead-back role after David Montgomery was placed on injured reserve, but it has instead been rookie running back Khalil Herbert taking on the role of starter. He has been impressive, to say the least. He has four games of solid production backing him up as well as now, including a 100-yard rushing performance against the Buccaneers.

The Steelers haven’t been as efficient at stopping the run this year as they have been in the past. More dedication has gone to the secondary to ensure that no big plays are given up at the expense of heavier defensive fronts to counter the run game. Herbert will likely have a few nice runs, but the team needs to limit his effectiveness and force the Bears to throw. If Herbert runs well and helps keep the score close, the Steelers will have a hard time winning this game.
