The Pittsburgh Steelers host the Chicago Bears on Monday Night Football in Week 9. Here are the best bets you should consider making.

Historically, Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin is 0-3 all-time against the Chicago Bears. However, I wouldn’t read too much into this statistic. It’s one thing to face an uncommon opponent on the road; it’s another to host a team with a rookie quarterback on Monday Night Football.

Though the Steelers have had their share of struggles on offense this year, they aren’t as bad as the dismal offensive performances the Bears have put up this season. This isn’t to say that Pittsburgh should take this game lightly (there’s obviously a lot riding on a potential Week 9 win). However, this is a contest that favors Pittsburgh.

If you are interested in upping the anty for this contest, here are three best bets you should consider for the Steelers vs Bears game:

Steelers to cover the spread (-6.0)

Pittsburgh hasn’t blown out any of their opponents yet this season, and they probably won’t often, but I think Tomlin’s team will cover the spread this week. Currently, the Steelers are 6.0-point favorites with -110 odds, courtesy of Week 9 betting odds from WynnBET. Even with a dismal offensive performance on the road against the Browns in Week 8, the Steelers won by five when they were underdogs by just as much.

The Bears have struggled to put points on the board consistently this year, and Pittsburgh’s defense has been red hot as of late. While I certainly don’t see this game being a shootout, I think the Steelers do enough to cover the spread this week — maybe even then some.
