Steelers K Chris Boswell

Chris Boswell was a hero in more ways than just one today. Although the Wizard of Boz missed an extra point that was crucial until the very end, he hit field goals from 54,52, and 40 yards out and recovered a fumble on his own kickoff in the 4th.

Boswell has been amazing so far this season as he is 15/16 when kicking field goals and is 14/15 when kicking extra points. Cam Heyward made a comment saying that Boswell is a “Serial killer,” and that he is “Too calm in some situations,” wrote CBS’s Bryan DeArdo. What Cam said is true because if you’ve ever seen Chris before a field goal you know he is either squirting water into his mouth or he is warming up on the sidelines with his hat worn backward.

It is safe to say that Chris Boswell can always be relied on to kick at Heinz Field no matter the kickable distance. The 30-year old is the 3rd most accurate kicker in NFL history with multiple years left in his career. Boswell is still somewhat underrated in the league but that is ok, Steeler fans still love their kicker and Boz’s latest performance surely renewed that feeling.
