The Steelers are coming off a short week after playing on Monday Night Football as they prepare for the winless Detroit Lions.

The Pittsburgh Steelers were able to overcome a late disadvantage against the Chicago Bears and escape with a win. Ben Roethlisberger put on his cape and played hero as he led the offense down the field for a game-winning field goal. It was a win that made fans feel icky as the game was sloppy and the big lead slipped away.

It is always better to win and learn than lose and know everything. That is what happened with Pittsburgh on Monday and now they stay at home to host the incoming Lions. It should be another week where the black and gold are highly favored to win.

The Detroit Lions are the worst team in the NFL at this point. They have the worst record by far with zero wins currently. They also don’t have many bright spots on this team when you look at their personnel.

There are many question marks across this rebuilding roster and the home team needs to take advantage of those issues. The opposition needs to build talent over time and they will not get that in 2021. The Steelers need to attack all game and not let up. If they do that then this contest won’t be close at all.

The experts have weighed in and the Steelers are expected to win this game. The very high majority of picks have gone in the home squad’s favor as they continue their win streak. It should be a fun game for fans to watch at Heinz Field as this club needs to leave the field with a 6-3 record.
