6 Steelers whose stock is crashing entering Week 10

Steelers OT Dan Moore Jr.
Of all the Steelers players I would love to see step up and have a huge year, Dan Moore is near the top of the list. This is largely because he plays left tackle — one of the most important positions in all of football. If Moore proves worthy of this position long-term, it could save Pittsburgh the headache of trying to find one who can stick around.
Sadly, Moore was downright abysmal against the Bears, and this was his second pitiful game in a row. While I gave him a bit of pass last week being matched up against Myles Garrett and essentially left on an island, there was no excuse for him to get humiliated the way he did against Robert Quinn.
Moore was cringeworthy in pass protection. In addition to being called for a hold (and having several other plays that could have been called), Moore struggled badly to keep his man in front of him in pass protection.
We are halfway through the 2021 season, and we have not seen as much growth from the rookie offensive tackle as we had hoped. As a former fourth-round pick, my faith in Dan Moore becoming a good future left tackle is starting to dwindle. Let’s hope he can start to restore that against a bad Lions team in Week 10.
