Losing T.J. Watt could really hurt

There is very little that is more important to the future success of this team than the health of Pittsburgh’s best player, T.J. Watt. Unfortunately, Watt went down grabbing his left leg after sacking Jared Goff in the third quarter.

This was an incredibly scary sight Though it looked like the injury might be knee-related, it was later reported that Watt suffered a hip injury in this contest and would not return to the game. This contest was close enough that Watt’s presence certainly could have made the difference.

However, what’s most important is that this team gets their best player back very soon. If Watt has to miss extended time with an injury, Pittsburgh’s defense could collapse.

Apart from maybe just Ben Roethlisberger, nobody is more important to the success of this team than T.J. Watt, and losing him for the season would spell disaster for Pittsburgh.

Steelers fans don’t have a lot to brag about after this contest. We can only hope the team shows better results against the Chargers on the road next week.
