This list is not the be-all-end-all of the potential quarterbacks the Steelers could consider or have a chance of drafting. The Steelers could look at these other possible candidates in the draft in the 2022 draft class. They include Jayden Daniels of Arizona State, who emulates Malik Willis. Then you have JT Daniels of Georgia, Desmond Ridder of Cincinnati, or Matt Corral of Ole Miss, who has popped up as a Steelers’ draft choice on several way too early mock drafts. As the draft day draws near, any of these players could end up in the discussion just as easily.

Spencer Rattler was the number one prospect on Mel Kiper’s list;  however, Oklahoma benched him over code of conduct violations. He could have been the number one prospect, but now it’s anyone’s guess what happens to his prospects, especially since there are talks of him transferring to another school.

We will have to wait and see how the Steelers 2021 season plays out and if they make the playoffs or fall short. Depending on where they draft in 2022 could determine which quarterback they take, assuming the Steelers make that choice.
