2. Kansas City Chiefs

6-4 3rd place in the AFC West

Key Losses: Baltimore Ravens, Buffalo Bills & Los Angeles Chargers

Kansas City’s 6-4 record is a result of the team’s poor defensive performances. Steve Spagnuolo and the Chiefs have struggled against opposing quarterbacks since the beginning of the season.

According to NFL.com, the Chiefs have allowed 2,586 yards passing this year. Veteran leaders like Tyrann Mathieu will help the Chiefs climb back into the playoff hunt.

Andy Reid and the offense have struggled to maintain their dominance as well. Franchises across the league have been working hard on defensive schemes that could slow down the Chiefs’ offensive performances. Patrick Mahomes and his receivers have failed to produce the statistics needed to that help carry the team to a Superbowl appearance.

Making the playoffs will never be completely out of the question while Mahomes is listed as the starter quarterback. The remaining games of the season will show if the Chiefs are who they claim to be.
