6. Steelers P Dustin Colquitt

Age: 38 years, 5.4 months

Dustin Colquitt is hardly an iconic Steelers legend. The long-time NFL punter spent 15 years of his career as a member of the Kansas City Chiefs before playing for both Jacksonville and Pittsburgh in 2020. Still, that technically makes him eligible for this list.

By the time the Steelers landed Colquitt, his Pro Bowl punting days had long been over. Pittsburgh cut Jordan Berry in 2020 in order to add Colquitt. This proved to be a mistake.

The former two-time Pro Bowler lasted just 5 games with the Steelers and averaged just 43.1 yards per punt before the team decided they had seen enough. Kevin Colbert brought back Berry and sent Colquitt packing. Colquitt had an excellent NFL career, but the 38-year-old punter didn’t have much left in the tank at this point.

The veteran punter booted the ball 1,168 times in his professional career for 52,353 yards, according to Pro Football Reference. This converts to approximately 29.75 miles of total punting distance during his time in the NFL.
