Just plain Crazy

Sometimes there are things so weird you can’t help but point them out. The next item must certainly be by far the most unusual faux pas in all of journalistic history. Plus, it is one fantastic coincidence.  The Lions kicked off to the Steelers to open the game, and at which point Ray-Ray McCloud fielded the ball. Then the darndest thing happened. Plus, not many would have noticed because most people do not listen to the radio broadcast and watch the televised broadcast. However, on the opening kick-off to the Steelers, Fox’s play-by-play announcer Chris Meyers and Steelers radio analyst Craig Wolfly both referred to Ray-Ray McCloud as Ray-Ray Mcdonald.

Next Sunday’s game is the prime time game of the week. Since the game is on Sunday night, it can lead to similar unusual stats as the games played on Mondays. Plus, the Steelers get the prime-time game against the Los Angeles Chargers as well. That combination should undoubtedly create any number of odd tidbits. It will be interesting to see how the game plays out. Hopefully, Big Ben will be back in the lineup to pile on top of his numerous milestones as well.
