The Steelers are coming off a tie versus the Lions and the injuries and concerns from last week might carry over.

The Pittsburgh Steelers are getting ready for the long flight across the country. They will be taking on the LA Chargers as they look to bounce back from last week’s tie against a poor Detroit Lions team. This is going to be a tough game for the black and gold and they might even be missing some people in their lineup.

The injury report does not seem promising as you look at it today. Many starters might be missing from this one as the club deals with different injuries. Players like T.J. Watt, Joe Haden, Kevin Dotson, Chase Claypool, and others could potentially miss this game. Those are four major contributors right there that will widely affect the outcome.

Another factor going against the visitors in this one is the other major players on the Covid list. Both Minkah Fitzpatrick and Ben Roethlisberger are on the list and could be out of the lineup when the game starts. Roethlisberger seems more likely to start than the defensive player. Reports have been out that the team is preparing to start Mason Rudolph again as they prepare for this week.

It is going to be a tough fight for Pittsburgh if they want to escape LA with a win. The good news is that this home team that they are playing is having some issues of their own. They are in a funk at the moment as they haven’t been able to be as explosive on offense as they were earlier in the season.

The biggest issue will be the Steelers playing with a depleted defense and potentially without major playmakers across their roster. Missing Watt out of the lineup will make this defensive unit look bad on Sunday. It is going to take a lot of preparation and for younger guys to step up while these other guys are out. The next man-up is going to be brought to the next level if this team is going to leave the stadium with a win.
