Final Prediction: Steelers 17, Chargers 28

Missing their starters, especially on defense, is going to be a killer for the Steelers. The Chargers are coming into this game with most of their lineup intact. That will make the difference in this one. This will be a tough game for the home club to lose.

Even though that the visiting team has a bunch of issues, this game could be closer than the score shows. This might take some time before LA can start adding to their score. Pittsburgh is a resilient group that will fight to keep the score close. They will just run out of gas towards the end of the game and that’s when the home team will walk down the field and score the game-sealing touchdown.

It is just going to be too hard for the visitors to overcome all of these players out of their lineup. Expect a lot of mistakes and miscommunication on Sunday. If Ben Roethlisberger does play then this could get a little more interesting. But the offensive line going up against some premiere players on this enemy defensive unit will be an issue.

This primetime game has lost some of its appeal because of those potentially missing the game on Sunday. It should have been a playoff-like atmosphere but it might lose some of that luster. It should still be a tighter game than many expect but the Chargers will be able to overcome the ups and downs of the game better than their opponent.
