The Pittsburgh Steelers suffered a heartbreaking loss at Los Angeles against a dangerous Chargers squad.

The Steelers tried their best putting up an astonishing 27 points in the 4th quarter against Los Angeles falling just short of pulling off an incredible comeback. With that being said, the Still Curtain team pulled off a pretty good week of predictions with only two writers taking a loss on the week.

Pittsburgh is getting healthier on defense and finally let it loose through the air in Week 11 towards the end of the game. It looked as though Ben may be getting in the right headspace to start pushing the ball downfield more. That should make this matchup a lot more interesting against a good Bengals squad. What does the Still Curtain team think of all of this heading into Week 12?

Still Curtain’s 2021 records:

Kody Duncan: 7-2

Andrew Falce: 4-6

Eric Hassel: 4-6

Tommy Jaggi: 6-4

Brandon Kring: 6-4

Ryan Pawloski: 6-4

Casey Sadekoski: 6-4

Week 12 Predictions vs Bengals

Kody Duncan: Steelers will win this game because Big Ben doesn’t lose in Ohio. (Pit 21-20)

Andrew Falce: The Bengals beat the Steelers handily earlier in the year, but the Steelers come out better prepared. It is a tough AFC North game, but the Steelers pull this one out on a late Boswell field goal. (Pit 27-24)

Tommy Jaggi: Pittsburgh hasn’t technically won a game since November 8th against the Chicago Bears. Following one of the worst defensive performances from this team in recent memory, I think the Steelers try to make a statement as some of their starters return to the field this week. Mike Tomlin knows he can’t afford to get swept against the Bengals, and I think Pittsburgh will do enough to take care of business on the road in Week 12. (Pit 24-21)

Brandon Kring: The Steelers just aren’t the better team in this matchup. The offense still struggles for the most part and the defense is really struggling with banged-up stars. The Bengals give the Steelers a loss in what could possibly be a string of many to finish the year out. (Cin 27-16)

Ryan Pawloski: It’ll all come down to the health of the Steelers in this one. They got outplayed the last time these two faced hut the Bengals offensive power might still be too much. (Cin 28-24)

Casey Sadekoski: The Steelers are going to be as intense and physical on defense as we have seen all season. TJ Watt is going to put up a monster game and Joe Burrow isn’t going to be able to surprise Pittsburgh with his ability to scramble as he did in the first matchup. If Ben is truly on the track mentally to push the ball downfield more then Pittsburgh is going to make this matchup look one-sided, although I don’t think Ben is fully there yet so it’ll stay closer than it needs to be. (Pit 27-20)
