MLB Patrick Queen

In this scenario, Patrick Queen would outright replace Devin Bush. Both are nearly identical in their size and each has blazing speed that makes them a perfect sideline-to-sideline linebacker. Patrick Queen is having himself quite the season and looking better than he did last year.

Queen did pretty alright in 2020 for a rookie who had to learn almost everything virtually. He racked up 100+ tackles, 9 TFLs, and 3 sacks while getting his hands on the football and forcing a few turnovers. But this year, he seems more explosive and his around the ball more, and that’s what the Steelers’ linebacker core needs.

He does do well in some coverages and the Steelers like to use their linebackers to cover receivers, so with his speed, he would be decent in that area. The LSU product would help the Steelers stop the run and be able to make outside containment which is troubling them this year. So far this year Quenn has 62 tackles, 2 sacks, and 9 TFLs, it seems like he will surpass most of his rookie numbers and has gone from being a raw player out of college to a more sound player who will continue to improve on his game and be a building block of that defense for years to come.
