5 bold predictions for Steelers in Week 11 vs. the Vikings

Steelers receivers beat the Vikings DB’s
While the Vikings’ defense has been pretty bad all-around, the corners that are being fielded are easily one of the weakest units on this team. While Patrick Peterson has been one of the steadier players in the secondary, his overall play has seen some drop-off. Behind him, Bashaud Breeland and Mackensie Alexander have been middling options that can easily be beaten.
Diontae Johnson should already be licking his lips this week, as he was a huge reason the team won despite being shadowed by Marlon Humphrey for most of the week. Even if Peterson does the same this week, expect a big week for Johnson. Chase Claypool has been extremely hot and cold this season, but he has a great matchup this week as well. Look for him and Ben Roethlisberger to try and get on the same page early.
At the end of the day, I think the Steelers’ passing unit has a lot of success against the Vikings’ corners. The safeties are more of an issue, but since the team usually focuses on short passes neither Harrison Smith nor Xavier Woods will likely be tested. This week, the offense moves through the receivers and both Johnson and Claypool have huge seasons.
