Defensive Tackle- Quinton Jefferson, Las Vegas

Pittsburgh should really consider signing soon-to-be free agent, Quinton Jefferson for next season. With so many injuries up front, the Steelers need to consider getting Cam Hayward and T.J Watt some help next season. Jefferson would be a great fit for this defense because of his veteran presence and his play on the field.

Quinton Jefferson will only be 29 years of age next year and will be looking for a new contract. The Steelers should consider signing him to a long-term deal because of the need at this position. Jefferson currently has 4 sacks, 14 hurries, 7 hits on the quarterback, and 2 force fumbles on the season. He also has 25 pressures on the quarterback, 18 solo tackles, and 12 assists. He is capable of making plays that can change the outcome of the game and that is what you want with an interior defensive lineman.

If the Steelers can all of three of these players, the team will be on the right path once again for next season. The Steelers are most likely going to sign either a free agent quarterback or draft a rookie, so the defense needs to be able to keep the team in games. These players will help do that for next year.
