Tennessee Titans (9-4) vs Pittsburgh Steelers (6-6-1), Sunday at 1 P.M. ET

The Pittsburgh Steelers are coming off a long break in between their two games. They lost to the Minnesota Vikings after an impressive comeback after being down 23-0 at halftime. They lost on the last play of the game that could have led to a tying score.

That was another tough loss after coming off a huge victory against the Baltimore Ravens just a couple of days before that. The short week hurt this team last week and they will now try and be forcing the upset against the Tennessee Titans. Pittsburgh was able to win this matchup last year but it will be tougher in 2021.

The black and gold were able to hold off a late-game comeback against the Titans on the road in 2020. A missed field goal kept the Steelers rolling along as they started to lose their winning efforts soon after that. That story is now night and day when you look at the team’s current record.

The home club in this one has not been consistent or played complementary football at all this season. They have struggled throughout the season to produce points and defensive turnovers when it matters most. Even the wins in 2021 have been a fight for dear life to win the matchup.

This game does not seem promising for Pittsburgh to win. The Titans have one of the best rushing attacks in the entire league, even without Derrick Henry in the backfield. The Steel City team has one of the worst run defenses in the league and that spells disaster for anyone rooting for the home team in this one.

The Steelers are looking at a grueling uphill battle if they want a chance at the playoffs this year. The AFC North is super tight and another mistake might just be too much of a slip-up.
