Steelers winner: Chris Boswell

While the Steelers have struggled to punt the ball, the opposite can be said about their kicker. Chris Boswell once again proved that he is one of the best in the business, as he was essentially the only reason that this team stayed in the game. With the offense barely moving the ball, Boswell was called upon to kick constantly and capitalize off turnovers.

While some will point to Boswell’s missed field goal as a reason not to include him here, he shouldn’t be faulted there. A 56-yard field goal alone is already pushing it for Boswell, add in a cold game at Heinz Field and it would have been impressive if he had landed that. Beyond that, Boswell scored the most points for the team after falling just short of that one long field goal.

At this point, there is little doubt that Boswell is one of the best in the game as a kicker. His only knock is that his leg isn’t as elite as Justin Tucker, but even then, he has proven to be able to make a longer kick. Boswell was critical in this game, as had he not been on his game, the Steelers would have never made this game close.
